Perfect white teeth are no longer a luxury of the rich and famous. Discoloured teeth can be caused by any number of factors and in most cases can be removed or reduced through the use of tooth whitening gels.
We have a choice of treatments available some of which we carry out in the surgery, some of which you do at home.
Treatment involves applying a whitening solution to your teeth which we then 'cure' with a special light. The treatment is completely painless and there's no need for anaesthesia of any kind. The treatment takes about an hour, after which your teeth will immediately be whiter.
Treatment at home is equally simple and pain-free. An impression is taken of your upper and lower teeth from which a tray for each is made. The tray is then filled with gel and placed in the mouth. The length of time you wear the trays and the duration of treatment will depend on your individual requirements, though most people will wear them for at least four hours on five consecutive days.
